Alyssa was my roommate in college and I have been lucky enough to take her senior portraits, engagement portraits, bridal portraits, and now maternity portraits!
It is always great to take photos of someone you are already familiar with photographing. You know what angles and lighting work for them and predict editing.
This photoshoot was in the evening around sunset in Reston Town Center. It was crisp out and we knew we only had about 30 minutes of daylight left. We grazed the area in view to find a few good places to get shots and found an area that wasn't too busy with people among the shops. We got some great shots and had Alyssa's family jump into a few of the photos. Amazingly enough, Alyssa's sister was also pregnant and I got some great shots of them as together. Even little Milo (cutest dog!) got in on the action.
Congrats Alyssa & EW! You are beautiful parents to be and I wish the best for you and your growing family.
