I have had the pleasure of being around children my whole life. I saw both of my younger sisters born (agh!) and currently work around children.
There is NOTHING more perfect than a newborn baby. Baby Thalia was no exception.
I am so happy to have met Renata and her beautiful family! Thanks to a recommendation by my amazing friend Avrielle I was connected to this family.
I was a bit nervous at first to do a new born photo shoot but if I could make it through two weddings I could DEFINITELY do a newborn shoot!
And so Renata put her faith in me and we made some magic :)
Both Renata and I learned some valuable lessons this day when it comes to photographing newborns:
Tip #1: Schedule the shoot within the 1st week of birth (This way they will be asleep the whole time)
Tip#2: If siblings are involved--bring bribes!
Tip#3: Just go with the flow and stay calm--babies are unpredictable!
Tip #4: Careful about the timing you take diapers off ( if you catch my drift ;p )
I ended up being able to get some really great shots of baby Thalia and connecting with such a sweet and down to earth client. I hope to take photos of the entire family in the near future :)
I left this session feeling really good and I am so lucky to have the nicest clients.
